Andrew Gold Passes
Singer-songwriter Andrew Gold has recently passed. Gold who contributed to albums by James Taylor, Carly Simon, Linda Ronstadt, former Beatles John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr & many more. His song "Thank You for Being a Friend" became the very popular theme for the hit TV sitcom "The Golden Girls." Gold was 59.
