Watchman Pictures Releases First Clips from Feature Film Romance ‘Princess Cut’

Watchman Pictures has released the first clips from its upcoming romantic drama “Princess Cut” in conjunction with its post-production Kickstarter campaign. Shot on the Blackmagic Cinema Camera in and around Winston-Salem, NC, production was completed over 19 days in the Fall of 2013. The independent faith & family-friendly feature-length film is headed towards a Valentine’s Day 2015 release.



“Princess Cut” follows the spirited daughter of a struggling NC farmer as she navigates the maze of romance trying to discover what true love is all about. The script was penned by award-winning filmmaker Paul Munger with his wife Sheilah. The independent Christian film stars a plethora of Carolina talent including Ashley Bratcher (The Perfect Summer), Joseph Gray (Alone Yet Not Alone), and father-son duo Rusty Martin, Sr. and Jr. (Courageous). Rusty Jr. has been named by The Christian Filmmaker Report as one of the 10 hottest actors under 30 in faith-based films. Additional strong performances by award-winning LA actors Jenn Gotzon (Frost/Nixon) and Cory Assink (You Are Super), along with Mimi Sagadin (Return to the Hiding Place) of Chicago round out the talented principal cast.
