Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Fantasy Film Fans Support New Mythica Fantasy Film Series

Fantasy film fans are showing up in force to pre-purchase DVDs or even get their name on the credits of a film series not unlike The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, or even Harry Potter. "There's finally a way to get involved in the films I love!” That’s the message from fans at events like Comic Con and FantasyCon.

Fans are acting fast before the deadline of May 18, 2014. The Mythica fantasy film series offers fans the opportunity to become a backer and be rewarded with props from the Mythica films, DVDs and Blu-rays of the movies, or even see their name listed in the credits of the film, if they act fast.

“Fans are excited because Kevin Sorbo is starring in Mythica. He is making his long-awaited return to the fantasy genre as Gojun Pye, a legendary wizard. Kevin is best known for his starring roles in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Kull the Conqueror, and Andromeda,” said Kynan Griffin, executive producer.

Fans want to participate in the creation of a major fantasy film, and now they can. Backers of Mythica can sign up online at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arrowstorm/mythica-a.... There are many, many gifts available to backers. A full description is on the website.

“Mythica is the most ambitious indie fantasy project ever undertaken. We shot three feature films in the series, back-to-back, from October 2013 to March 2014, with several more films in the Mythica series planned,” said Jason Faller, Arrowstorm Entertainment executive.

Nearly 1,000 fans have signed up to be backers of the first of the series of Mythica films, and in a few days that opportunity will end.

“If our fans respond and help us meet our goal by the deadline, we will be able to bring Kevin Sorbo to Salt Lake City for the next Comic Con in September,” promised Faller. “And if that happens, the world premiere showing of Mythica: A Quest for Heroes will be held as part of the Comic Con event. Whether that happens will be up to fantasy fans who become backers,” he added.

Fantasy fans can "live the dream" if they become a backer of the film at a level that provides a listing in the film’s credits, and by attending the premiere showing of the film with their friends and family where everyone will see their name up on the screen as a backer.

The deadline is approaching fast. Fans can go to the website, watch the trailer, and select what level of support they would like and what gifts they want to receive at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arrowstorm/mythica-a-quest-for-heroes-starring-kevin-sorbo
