Horror movie House of Good and Evil scares up success!

Fright-flick House of Good and Evil is headed to the big screen.

While it's not uncommon for a horror movie to get a theatrical release, it is rare for one to hit theaters that's already available on home video. But due to some frighteningly good DVD sales and 8 international Best Picture Awards, the 'House' has been asked to open it's doors to the cinema crowd.

The North American theatrical run of House Of Good And Evil begins June 16th, 17th and 18th at Mayberry Drive In and Diner in Moneta, VA.

The movie, released on the home entertainment market earlier this month from Phase 4 Films, is already tipped to be a genre classic. Doors are already creaking open for a number of cast and crew - including actors Rachel Marie Lewis, Christian Oliver, Bo Keister and Jordan Rhodes, and the crew, including director David Mun and writer/producer Blu de Golyer - as a result of their involvement in what's shaping up to be one of the top-rated horror films.

House of Good and Evil, filmed in Virginia, took nearly 10 years to make but for the filmmakers behind the next 'midnight cult classic' it's a hard-slog of a journey that's unarguably paid off.

House of Good and Evil is now available on DVD. Northern American theatrical run begins June 16
