It’s That Time of the Month: TomCat Films Brings the Heat with International Rights to PMS Cop

( announces today it has secured all International Rights to Byron Blakey’s PMS Cop, which is also being released as Monster Cop. The film is being released in North America via Charlie Band’s Full Moon Entertainment ( The film, which Horror Society ( “a hard hitting exploitation horror hybrid”, is about a police officer with anger issues who is caught on camera brutally beating a clown rapist. She is subjugated to mandatory therapy.

Her therapist quickly concludes that she suffers from extreme PMS and enrolls her in a drug trial for the new menstrual wonder drug Corybantic. Mary responds positively until a devastating incident throws her into a monstrous drug-induced killing frenzy. Soon everyone who comes into contact with the PMS cop realizes it IS her time of the month.

Cindy Means, who plays the title character, was recently interviewed by Rue Morgue is certainly open to the idea of working with Blakey again: “PMS Cop was an insane amount of fun and growth for me, and I look forward to what’s next.”
